Residents Invited to Rate City Services
The City of North Richland Hills invites residents to participate in its 2015 Citizen's Survey. The survey was mailed this week to 6,000 randomly selected households with the option to respond by mail, phone or online. Additionally, any NRH resident may take the survey online.
The city conducts a statistically valid and random citizen's survey every other year. The purpose is to objectively assess the public's satisfaction with city services and identify areas where improvements can be made. Some of the topics assessed on the survey are public safety, parks and recreation, streets and traffic, and customer service. Results of the survey will be presented to the City Council in early 2016. "We are proud of the level and quality of services and programs our residents currently enjoy, but we want to ensure that we continue on the right track," said City Manager Mark Hindman. "Citizen feedback is very important, and we encourage all residents to participate in the survey." To complete the survey online, you will need to enter the survey code printed on your mailed survey. If you do not have a survey code, please email andrea@nationalserviceresearch.com to get one.

Rufe Snow Construction Update
A project to reconstruct and widen Rufe Snow Drive between NE Loop 820 and Karen Drive has begun. Travel lanes will be restricted to one lane in each direction on both Rufe Snow Drive and Meadow Lakes Drive during the majority of the construction, which will last approximately five months. Motorists are asked to use caution and expect delays in this area. When complete, this project will provide additional lane capacity on Rufe Snow Drive, replace the existing asphalt pavement with concrete pavement, and improve signalization to better accommodate area traffic.
Construction on another project to repave, widen and improve Rufe Snow Drive north of Mid-Cities Boulevard is expected to begin in Spring 2016.
