Teens Invited to Apply for
Youth Advisory Committee

Do you know a teen looking to get involved in the community? If the answer is "yes," then we have just the group for them to join! The Youth Advisory Committee serves as a liaison between the City Council and youth in the community. The committee learns how their local government operates, hosts guest speakers on topics affecting youth in our community, organizes community service projects each semester and gives reports to the City Council each year.

The Youth Advisory Committee is a great opportunity to learn about the community and local government, to serve the community through volunteering and meet new friends. To sign-up please email Kristin James at [email protected] or call 817-427-6015. Applications are due by September 9, 2015.
