Turn in Unused Prescription Drugs on April 26

The North Richland Hills Police Department is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration in the national "Take Back" prescription drug collection event on Saturday, April 26th. The public may drop off unused prescription drugs between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Fire Administration building at 7202 Dick Fisher Dr. N. The prescriptions will be turned over to the DEA for proper disposal. For more information about this national initiative to stop prescription drug abuse, visit www.dea.gov.

Call Before You Dig

April is National Safe Digging Month. Whether you're building a deck, planting a tree or installing a mailbox, the City of North Richland Hills and Atmos Energy remind you to call 811 before you dig.

The national "Call Before You Dig" number, 811 was created to help protect you from unintentionally hitting underground utility lines. Remember to call 811 at least 2 working days before you dig and they'll send a locator to mark underground utility lines, pipes and cables.

Don't assume you know what's below. Call 811 to protect yourself and those around you. More information can be found at www.texas811.org.

Mandatory Conservation: Remember to water only twice per week on your designated days, or less when it rains. For more information, please visit www.nrhtx.com/conservation.

Thank you for your interest in the City of North Richland Hills. If you have questions or comments, please feel free to contact us at [email protected] or call City Hall at 817-427-6000.

Sincerely,
City of North Richland Hills
