NASIMCO invites youth in North America to take part in the 5th Annual Youth Leadership Retreat this year. The retreat is part of NASIMCO's Capacity Building Program, which aims to unlock the potential of participants to serve the community and humanity. The retreat has helped youths from different communities across North America to reignite their passion for serving their communities in a powerful and efficient way. This year, the organizing team chose the theme of "Thinking Outside the Box: Making Your Voice Count".

The leadership retreat aims to facilitate growth in participants in three areas - the individual, the interpersonal, and the community and society. By inspiring individuals to reach their potential that is within them, they are given tools to unlock the chains that hold them back from growing as individuals, challenge their hearts and minds, and learn how to navigate through the community and society to become proactive leaders. Most importantly, participants can build their youth network and make lifetime connections. The retreat features empowering workshops, group activities, group projects, inclusive youth discussions, outdoor activities, sports and more!

All youth ages 18 to 25 are encouraged to take part in this incredible weekend, especially those who are actively present in the community. It will take place during the Canadian Labour Day weekend, from August 29 to September 1, 2014 at the Copperdome Lodge in Pemberton Valley, BC. The fee for the retreat is $200 per participant, and includes food, lodging and transportation from Vancouver to Pemberton, BC. Registration is open and participants are requested to apply online at www.nasimco.org

Register as soon as possible. Spaces are limited!
