My soul magnifies the Lord, and
my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,
for he has looked with favor on the lowliness of his servant.
Surely, from now on all generations will call me blessed;
for the Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is his name.
His mercy is for those who fear him from generation to generation.
He has shown strength with his arm; he has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their hearts.

Marianist in Italy Run to Support
Marianist Education in India
Baveno, Italy
"Rive del Toce by Night" (One Thousand Lights for Rebecca) is a non-competitive race held in memory of the little girl from Baveno, Italy who died last October. In her name the "Rebecca Project" has been established to raise funds for building an educational center in India, with the help of A Marianist Light in Italy and India (U.L.M.I.) and the Marianist Sisters in India. 451 people recently participated in the 10 km race. All who attended carried the wonderful spirit of Rebecca in their hearts, including those didn't know her personally.
"I'm very moved and I'm sure that Rebecca ran next to each participant," said Giovanni Bonaffini, Rebecca's father. The Marianists of Italy continue to look for other possible events that can help raise funds for India.

"Rive del Toce by Night" (Mille lumi�res pour Rebecca) est une course non comp�titive qui s'est tenue � la m�moire de la petite fille de Baveno, Italie, d�c�d�e en Octobre dernier. En son nom, le "Projet Rebecca" a �t� cr�� pour amasser des fonds pour la construction d'un centre �ducatif en Inde, avec l'aide de la "Lumi�re Marianiste en Italie et en Inde (U.L.M.I.)" et les Sœurs Marianistes en Inde. 451 personnes ont r�cemment particip� � la course de 10 km. Tous ceux qui �taient pr�sent ont port� le merveilleux esprit de Rebecca dans leurs cœurs, incluant ceux qui ne la connaissait pas personnellement.
"Je suis tr�s �mu et je suis certain que Rebecca a couru � c�t� de chaque participant", a d�clar� Giovanni Bonaffini, le p�re de Rebecca. Les Marianistes de l'Italie continuent � chercher d'autres �v�nements possibles qui peuvent aider � recueillir des fonds pour l'Inde.

Ensu nombre,el "Proyecto Rebecca,"se ha creado para recaudar fondos para la construcci�n deun centro educativo en la India,con la ayuda de Una Luz Marianista en Italia y las Hermanas Marianistas en la India. En total 451 personas participaron recientemente en lacarrera de 10 km.Todos los que asistieron lleva el maravilloso esp�ritu de Rebecca en sus corazones, incluso los que no la conoc�a personalmente.
