Here are some highlights of our recent projects:

We do on-location photography for events, pamphlets, posters, advertising, prints and websites (by LuckyDuck or others)! It's good practice to update a website - regular visitors appreciate new, additional content housed in a fresh look. As do search engines! A supportive community of friends plus respite for caregivers
LUNENBURG - On Wednesday afternoons, Jenny & I turn into a St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Team.
We start our shift at the VON's Adult Day Program. It's offered at "The White House" which is right next door to Fishermen's Memorial Hospital - very handy!
We continue our shift at FMH, in the waiting rooms, the medical and emergency departments, ambulatory care and the Art Patterson wing.
Over the months, at the Adult Day Program and the hospital, we've been treated to a ring-side seat of caring for clients, patients, families and friends.
The Adult Day Program is led by trained and experienced VON staff.
- It is a supportive community of friends for individuals who are frail, have chronic illness or physical/cognitive impairments.
- The program reduces social isolation and provides respite for caregivers.
- Programs & activities include armchair exercises, relaxation, baking, mental aerobics, gardening, musical entertainment, cards and bingo.
