Scenes for the hit TV show It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia used Super 8 this month in an upcoming episode. They used Pro8 EKT 100D reversal film, rented a Max 1014xls with wide screen shooting, and scanned in HD. Look for the episode airing soon!
American Idol is back for their 11th season of shooting Super 8! American Idol shot more super 8 this season for the 2012 tour, auditions and backstage footage!
Volcom, a popular clothing and accessories brand among the skater community was in this month shooting on Fuji color negative. It is still unknown what the shots will be used for but many of their online marketing commercials incorporate Super 8. 
Juicy Couture founders are starting a new fashion line called Skaist-Taylor, and the duo are co-producing their own commericals using Super 8.
