Spring On Over to the Kitsap Peninsula
Spring is officially here and a wonderful time to get away to the beautiful Kitsap Peninsula for the day, night or nice long weekend especially during Spring Break with the kids. There are lots of family fun activities to capture their imagination. In Poulsbo, learn about 100 species of marine plants and animals found in our Puget Sound waters at the Poulsbo Marine Science Center. The Tide pool touch tank allows you to interact with most of the animals you will find on your local beach walks.
In Keyport, learn about the wonders of the ocean world at the Naval Undersea Museum. Escape into the magical world of puppetry at the Valentinetti Puppet Museum or get bugged at the unique Bug Museum located directly across from the fleet of mothballed aircraft carriers in Bremerton. _____________________________________
