San Jose City Council Mulls Public Art Ordinance
The San Jose City Council will consider adding a Public Art Ordinance to its Policy Priority list for next year at its December 8th meeting. Councilmember Magdalena Carrasco has issued a memo in support of adding a "Percent for Public Art" ordinance to the Council 2016 priority list which if adopted place the issue on the list of topics to be studied in 2016/17.  Full Story
Redwood City Affordable Housing Impact Fees
Affordable housing fees are again on the Redwood City Council agenda this Monday, December 07, 2015 at 7:00pm. The Council will vote on a final reading of the ordinance and resolutions enacting new impact fees on both residential and commercial development that will establish fees of $25 per square foot on detached/townhome construction and $20 per sq. ft. on apartments, condos, and commercial office construction.  Full Story
