2013 Hyundai Elantra Sedan earns IIHS TOP SAFETY PIC+
In one of the most rigorous tests of vehicle safety, the 2013 Hyundai Elantra sedan earned the US-based Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's (IIHS) TOP SAFETY PICK+. The Elantra sedan was one of only six small cars to receive the highest honor from IIHS. In addition to the Elantra sedan, the 2013 Sonata, Equus, Genesis, Tucson and Santa Fe Sport have all earned IIHS's TOP SAFETY PICK.

Hyundai / The Walking Dead Chop Shop / Building the Veloster Turbo ZSM
Hyundai had its first zombie experience with the product placement of a Hyundai Tucson in the TV series, The Walking Dead. The placement inspired the brand and its creative agency Innocean to design his own zombie survival version of the Hyundai Elantra Coupe in 2012.
