Our condolences go to the Carswell family at this sad time. Graeme Carswell passed away on Sunday Februrary 14th in a tragic fishing accident. Graeme played field hockey for many years, as a junior in Spring League, in our Regional and Provincial Programs, and in the Junior National Program. More recently, Graeme had been playing in the Netherlands, and joined West Vancouver Field Hockey Club when he returned to Vancouver this year. Graeme was also a coach for his clubs in the Lower Mainland and in Holland, and helped out with the FHBC School's Program. Graeme was a great person on and off the field, and was highly regarded by those that knew him. He will be greatly missed.
