Become an Umpire!
A Provincial Umpires course is being offered in Coquitlam for those wishing to take first steps towards their umpiring certification. The course, facilitated by Megan Robertson, will run on February 23 and March 2 at Charles Best Secondary School in Coquitlam.
After an undefeated weekend, Shawnigan took first place at the U-18 Indoor Championships, held in Chemainus on January 24-25. In second place were the Island Wildcats, with a weekend record of 4-1-0. Congratulations to all these athletes, on a spectacular weekend!
The Senior Women's BC Indoor Championships took place in Duncan at the Island Savings Centre on January 31-February 1.
With fifteen pool play games taking place to determine the winner, the University of Victoria's White team took home the title of 'champion' after going 3-2-0 over the course of the weekend.

Canada has announced their roster for the second round of the Men's World League tour, taking place in March in California. This team features sixteen athletes from British Columbia, including veteran player Scott Tupper as team captain.
The top three finishers at this tournament will move on to World League Round 3 in June 2015.
Canada at the Indoor Hockey World Cup
The Canadian Men's and Women's Indoor teams have returned from Leipzig, with Canada finishing 12th (men's) and 10th (women's), respectively.
The women's team went 1-2-4, while the men's team finished with a 0-2-5 record at this international competition. For FHC's in depth recap of the 2015 Indoor World Cup, click here!
Pools for the 2015 Pan Am Games
The pools have been released for the Pan Am Games, taking place in Toronto this summer.
The Canadian Men's team has landed in Pool B, alongside Chile, Brazil and Mexico. In the Women's division, Canada's pool play games will be against Argentina, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic. Read more HERE.
