The BC Government have announced their commitment to continue the Sports, Arts and Legacy Fund, which amounts to $10 million annually over 3 years. The BC Government has recognized the positive results demonstrated by the sports sector as a result of the Fund originally allocated in the Budget 2010.

High Performance Update
The High Performance team have a number of events over the next month. April kicks off with the Train to Train Festival, from 5-7 April. This festival will include athletes from across BC who have participated in the HP Regional Program. Then the Learn to Train Assessments take place from 12-14 April. These are initial athlete assessments for each region across BC. Finally the Train to Compete Tournament, from 26-28 April, which includes 8 regional teams from across BC, consisting of athletes who have been part of the HP Training Program. The Vancouver International Tournament is nearly here. The VIT, one of the largest social field hockey tournaments on the west coast, will take place on 17-20 May 2013 at the Burnaby Lake West Complex. Registration is open now, for more information or to download the entry form please visit our website! The deposit deadline is 18 March and the final entry deadline is 7 April.
