Proof of Renters Insurance Required
Deadline - Friday, September 12th
Lease agreements for 2014-2015 require that all students living in Yale Graduate Housing have renters insurance to cover their personal belongings in case of fire, flood or theft. Yale does not cover personal items that are damaged, destroyed or lost. Those are the responsibility of the student/person occupying the dormitory or apartment.
Yale Graduate Housing requires "Proof of Insurance" for each student or person occupying a dormitory or apartment. Students who do not provide proof of insurance by the September 12th deadline will have policies purchased on their behalf and the yearly premium will be charged to their SFAS account.
