Based on public and/or private reports the following areas have elevated threat levels for the following areas:
 
BASED ON RECENT SCHOOL SHOOTINGS ALL SCHOOLS SHOULD BE AT ELEVATED THREAT LEVELS. PACIFIC NW AT EVEN HIGHER LEVEL 
Northeast:
  • School shooting near campus
  • Racial conflict causing tensions in NY area
  • Four incidents of sexual abuse claims against staff members
Southeast:
  • Florida (Broward County) Reporting increased racial conflicts
  • 4 teachers charged with sexual misconduct
Midwest: 
  • Severe weather outbreaks are winding down but still possible
  • No other threats prevalent
Southwest:
  • 2 cases of sexual abuse arrests in past two weeks
West:
  •  Teacher abduction of student at knifepoint has had serious repercussions and elevated hostilities
Pacific NW:
  • Shootings at Seattle Pacific University and Reynolds High School have elevated threat levels across the region
