LWVSB Office Remodel 2015
Remember the date August 17, 2015.That is when all of our League's furniture, important papers, old photographs, certificates, documents and books are scheduled to be be moved into storage for the remodel of our office at 328 E. Carrillo Street, Suite A.

We will be replacing the carpet and getting new paint. Some of us hope to dispose of an extra filing cabinet or two, anything that is out of date and all that extra paper we will never use. We will recycle and repurpose to the best of our abilities. We are also collecting items for our League UCSB archives.

Did you donate any furniture that you might want back?  Do you know where some of the furniture came from? If so, let us know. We would like to return anything precious that might be lurking in the office.

If you are or have been a committee chair, officer or are in charge of a project please clean out your drawer(s) and filing bins asap. Ask yourself: is this worthy of being saved or should it be thrown away. Otherwise it will be gone. The Mystery Trasher probably will not know what could be valuable; she definitely is a minimalist. For her less is too much.

If you have questions or concerns, please contact Co-President Amanda at 805-452-5804 or by email. Otherwise it's bye-bye old paper and books. We plan on having a wonderful Open House at our refurbished offices in late September or early October.  Breathe the clean air!
