Election Information

You should already have received your Official Voter Information Guide from the state, and your Sample Ballot from Santa Barbara County. If you didn't--or if you are a new voter, or have recently moved or changed your name--make sure you Register to Vote by Oct. 20. Voter registration forms are available at several locations, including the League office at 328 East Carrillo Street, Suite A. And at the link above, you can even register online now!

For LWV's impartial voter information, see LWVSB's website, which has links to Smartvoter.org, the Pros and Cons, and other resources. Check on our home page as well, especially for upcoming events and videos of candidate and ballot measure forums. Some of the election information sites are still under construction or may be updated as new information becomes available, so be sure to check them frequently.

October Discussion Units
The units will feature a discussion of state and local ballot measures. Bring your ballot information and most importantly, your questions. See the calendar on the website or in your fall Channel Voter for dates, times and places.
