Come to Israel in 2017!
| You are warmly invited to join Fr. Andrew & Mimi Rowell on a thrilling pilgrimage to Israel, January 15-26, 2017! We will walk in the footsteps of Jesus, spending considerable time along the shores of the Sea of Galilee and in Jerusalem. We will also visit major Biblical-era sites such as Mount Carmel, Bethlehem, Nazareth, Masada and the Dead Sea. The approximate cost per person will be $4,000.00, which includes all flights, all travel, guides and admissions in Israel, and a daily breakfast and dinner. This price assumes double occupancy, with an additional supplement for those wanting a single room to themselves. There is also a "land only" cost if you'd like to use frequent flyer miles for the trip.
Please sign up by emailing Marty Nanfeldt at [email protected]. A deposit of $500 is due by September 1 and four classes will be held in the late Fall of 2016 to prepare us for the things we will see and experience and to bring us together in friendship and love before we go. Non-Christchurch members are welcome to join - so bring your friends from outside our church to come along!

Prayer For Christchurch
Give us Your strength for the journey, Lord, for we've begun the race but are far from the finish. You Who have brought us to this new day, lead us onward, for we want to follow.
Give us the faith to fight the good fight, for with You we know we cannot lose. Give us the peace that knows we're not alone, for Your Son walks with us.
Give us the grace to see each step taken as part of a greater Plan, for it's Your will that we seek.
And as we keep the faith to the end of our journey, may we always remember why we began.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN.

+CHRISTCHURCH+
Its unceasing mission: To be a light in the world, a city set on a hill; To keep the faith delivered once for all to the saints; To offer new life and ancient truth.
To be a place where:
Saints are made and fishing taught;
love's displayed as souls are caught;
hearts are mended and faith upbuilt;
all befriended, freed from guilt;
holy fires by Spirit lit and bright hopes raised by Holy Writ;
Jesus praised as bread is broken,
to share His cup, that grace be spoken;
lives lifted up:
the blind find sight,
the lost brought near,
In God's delight Christ is here!
"Glory to God whose power, working in us, can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine: Glory to him from generation to generation in the Church, and in Christ Jesus forever. Amen."
Ephesians 3:20-21
