Spotlight: HalTech ACCELERATE Client
Daniel Christian Tang

The uniquely intricate designs of the Daniel Christian Tang (DCT) jewelry collection called Morfologi, transcends the realm of traditional jewelry. By coupling architectural modeling software with 3D Printing Technology, the DCT team have created five distinct Morfologi designs: HIVE, WAVEMAKER, GRID, FLOW, and DIAMOND.

Like many young startups, Daniel Christian Tang encountered some key business challenges such as market positioning and securing seed funding. As a HalTech HEAT program client, they were assisted by HalTech's  Entrepreneur-in-Residence who advised them on product branding, strategic planning, and made valuable introductions to contacts in the luxury jewelry market.

The results of Daniel Christian Tang's hard work and HalTech's business advising are starting to pay off: they received a surge of media interest from Elle and Flare magazines, Globe & Mail news and Futurera. Moreover, DCT won the title of "Top Emerging Jewelry Brand" at the Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards, which caught the attention of E-talk Canada's media correspondents who will wear their jewelry at the
2016 Oscars

With the holiday season upon us, it's a great time to check out the unique Morfologi jewelry collection at Daniel Christian Tang.
