The summer heat is at its height and proving to be a heavy burden to our clients at New Visions Homeless Day Shelter in Camden.

As temperatures rise and excessive heat warnings blanket the area, we are looking to replenish our toiletry supply at the shelter. And we need your help!

Our clients come to New Visions during the day to escape the heat and recover in the air conditioning. Having access to showers and our laundry facility provides comfort. Demands on our toiletry supply at this time of year have created a deficit of supplies. We are in need of the following (new) items for our clients:
  • Razors
  • Shaving Cream
  • Toothpaste
  • Toothbrushes
  • Deodorant
  • Soap
  • Shampoo
  • Feminine Products
We are also in need of towels and washcloths, which can be gently used.

Items can be delivered to New Visions & LSMNJNotify us of your planned day/time to deliver to ensure someone will be waiting to greet you and receive your donation.

Coming to a Congregation Near You:
FREE Lutheran Learning Workshops
LSMNJ is excited to present a series of workshops and classes entitled LUTHERAN LEARNING. These educational programs are intended for your pastor, church leaders, and congregational members to enhance your ministry and broaden your understanding of current topics, such as emergency preparedness, fundraising 101, driving safety, planning for retirement, and many more.

LSMNJ will bring these free, ready-made programs to your church. All you need to do is choose a topic, select a date, and share the details with your congregation and community or invite select church leaders to attend.

Interested in hosting one of our Lutheran Learning workshops? Contact Beth Gebhart, Executive Director Mission Advancement, at [email protected] or at (609) 699-4133.

BREIDENHART CASTLE FRONT DOOR FEATURED AT LeadingAge ANNUAL MEETING
LeadingAge NJ, a statewide association of not-for-profit senior care organizations, featured the front door of Breidenhart Castle (located on the campus of Lutheran Crossings Enhanced Living in Moorestown) on a poster unveiled at their annual meeting.
Doors from member organizations across the state were featured to represent a threshold to change. The poster highlights the transition that our aging population makes when they move into senior care facilities and begin a new chapter of their lives.
