You are invited to attend an informational seminar and training session to help de-mystify the process surrounding establishing industry sponsored research projects with for-profit companies, securing the receipt and transfer of materials for use in research, and all associated issues and common questions surrounding these research activities at UCLA. Register here. (Apr. 6)

UCLA/UC Funding
The UC Laboratory Fees Research Program enhances partnerships between UC researchers and laboratory scientists at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) and Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). Awards from this program promote the development of projects and collaborations that advance the missions of the national laboratories and UC. The Request for Proposals is scheduled for release in March.

The Center for the Study of Women offers grants to all UCLA faculty for research development, new project development that may lead to external funding opportunities through CSW, and project completion that could be considered for CSW publications (policy briefs, research reports). Preference will be given to junior faculty and projects that link to CSW's current research projects (for example, Feminism and the Senses, Chemical Entanglements, Food | Water | Shelter). (May 8th)

Open refers to those LSOs for which the internal deadline has not yet closed. The submissions will be reviewed by the committee and the requisite number will be given permission to proceed as the UCLA applicant(s).
