NCSE will hold the 15th National Conference on Science, Policy and the Environment: "Climate and Energy" in January 27 - 29, 2015 in Washington, DC. and UCLA is entitled to 5 free conference registrations, valued at $495 each. These can be used by faculty, administrators and/ or students. Interested parties should contact Casandra Rauser at SustainableLA@ucla.edu.  


EPA announces support for Small Businesses to Bring Green Technology, Innovative Research to Marketplace 

The Environmental Protection Agency's Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program helps businesses bring innovative green technologies to the marketplace. The next EPA SBIR Phase I solicitation is scheduled to open in Spring 2015.

The CENIC 2015 Annual Conference, Shaking Things Up, will be held on March 9-11, 2015, on the beautiful campus of UC Irvine, where attendees will enjoy three days of programming, demonstrations, sponsor talks, and human networking, as well as presentations by the winners of the 2015 Innovations in Networking Awards.

The CESMI conference will take place in Los Angeles, California, at the Doubletree Hilton Hotel at the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro over two days, April 30 and May 1, 2015.

The conference will include senior level technology experts, innovators from large ports, shipping companies, ship builders, ship systems, port cargo handling systems, power systems, ocean power developers, research organizations, maritime industry organizations, and Government.
