The Hoffman2 Cluster is a project that serves the UCLA research community with over 1,600 active users working with 300 faculty groups from 100 UCLA departments, centers and institutes. The goal of this meeting is to give you an overview of cluster operations, what services are offered and associated costs and some tips on the using the cluster more effectively. The Hoffman2 Cluster is a project of the Institute for Digital Research and Education (IDRE) Cluster Hosting Program.

The UC Berkeley Startup Competition is an accelerator that propels early stage startups to fundable and awards more than $25,000 in prizes. It provides entrepreneurs with the best possible resources - including training, networking, mentorship and cash awards. It is open to all UC affiliated applicants.

Climates of Change Symposium - Nov 6 

You are invited to join a half-day symposium on November 6, 2014 in the Main Conference Room of the Charles E. Young Research Library. The symposium intends to consider what the humanities can contribute to the UCLA Grand Challenge, Thriving in a Hotter Los Angeles, as well as the issue of environmental sustainability at large.
