Carved Pumpkin  

A huge thank you to David Bouton for donating  pumpkins for the pumpkin patch held at last month's petting zoo.   Also many thanks to talented pumpkin carver Alfred Paredes of A.P. Sculpture Studio  who donated four 3D carved pumpkins to Danny's Farm to auction.  See some of his amazing work www.APSculptureStudio.com 

 

 
Brand new Autism School to Open in Pasadena

The Institute for the Redesign of Learning celebrated the official ribbon cutting ceremony last week for their new Non-Public School for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Located near the celebrated Gamble House,
Westmoreland Academy will incorporate a specialized curriculum to meet individual needs of its students with Autism ages 5-17 yrs.  Small class size, instructional experts with specialized training in ASD, state of the art classrooms with the latest assistive technology, makes this exciting new school a wonderful addition to the community.

Welcome to our newest addition.   Rusty, an Angus bull calf, was born at  Cal Poly  earlier this spring.  He was born with problems in his front legs, but has made a full recovery due to the wonderful care he received at Cal Poly Pomona.

STAY TUNED FOR DETAILS -
The Negri Foundation & Wells Fargo Bank, along with the Pasadena Star News are sponsoring an all-star girls volleyball match on December 9th at Monrovia High School. This fun filled volleyball game is a competition between the Pasadena area public and private schools.  Danny's Farm was selected as the beneficiary of the charitable component.  A volleyball clinic for special needs children will be announced soon.....stay tuned!
