You've Got Mail this Thursday, 5-8pm at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod, is going to be the best party of the summer!
Join us for a spectacular evening filled with beautifully hand painted mailboxes by talented Cape Cod artists, exciting live and silent auctions, fabulous live music, and delicious food. Already have a mailbox? Use this one as a bread box, coupon saver, housewarming or special gift. We have a wonderful assortment of "mail" including sport fishing, Red Sox tickets, round trip airfares, restaurants, theater and much more. Future Habitat homeowner Amy Campinha of Bourne will be sharing a few words with us before the live auction. (Online bidding - see below - closes Monday).

ReStore Update: Those of you helped with the start-up of our ReStore will be pleased to know that we are working on our first phase of expansion. Great donations of furniture, cabinets, new doors and windows, continue to pour in. All this merchandise requires better display and more sales room! Long time Habitat volunteer Donna Baldwin has stepped in as store manager and is working to build up our roster of volunteer sales staff, pricers, and front desk people. Volunteers willing to be on call to Move Heavy Objects are also always welcome to sign up to help.
Our customer base continues to grow, but word of mouth advertising is super important to our success - so please be sure to let you friends know that our ReStore is open to the public. Volunteer Construction is off to a great start this season. In some towns it has been a while since we had this many opportunities available. If you need a little help getting signed up to volunteer this year in Bourne, Eastham, Mashpee, or Truro, just give Volunteer Services Manager Dawn Walnut a call, Tuesday - Friday at 508 362 3559 x16. She will help match you with the best opportunities for your skills and level of involvement desired.
