Volunteer Needs | |
ReStore: HHCC is looking to open a Habitat ReStore in the coming year. We need to find volunteers willing to help us receive donated items. We will train volunteers on the process and the parameters of what we will and will not accept. We will also need people to go out (in pairs) to pick up the donated items. A truck with a trailer hitch is best and of course, a strong back! Interested? Please contact Hilary Greene : 508-362-3559 ext. 16 or email: Hilary Greene Donated items needed!
Our new office neeeds a few items: a flat screen TV (at least 40") and a microwave ...
Please call our office if you think you may have one or more of the items on our Wish List...508-362-3559.

Greetings!
Happy March...I think Spring may actually be coming...I hope! Lots going on with the completion of one Mashpee home, dedication of two other Mashpee homes coming up plus our three Spring Breakfast Gatherings happening in Orleans, Dennis and Sandwich. Construction is winding down on our Timberlane and Lakewood sites so our construction volunteer opportunities are also winding down. Please contact Susan Lauber, the Volunteer Coordinator for our Mashpee builds if you have any questions about the remaining build days on our Volunteer Up build schedule. We have suspended our monthly Volunteer Orientation meetings until we have our new opportunities clearly outlined and can offer you specific opportunities to sign up for. They should resume late this Fall. Once these homes are completed, we will not be starting any new builds for a while, but we promise to have lots of things to try to keep you busy with us so stay tuned!
Thank you again for all you do for us! Peace, hilary |

Snow's Home & Garden Celebrates Habitat! | |
"Benefit beads" are a new part of the popular My Cape/My Town collectible beads and was started in August 2010 at Snow's Home and Garden. Like the other beads, these are created by local artists and are unique pieces of art. Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod is one of the chosen organizations and was the featured bead last August. The beads are still on sale and $10 of every bead sold goes to our organization so we hope you will visit Snow's today and buy your Habitat Benefit bead. These beads are beautiful and can go on bracelets and necklaces and are compatible with the popular Pandora bracelets. Snow's Home & Garden, 22 Main Street, Orleans, MA
