Greetings!
Wow, what a year, six homes started, 3 dedicated and three more to go! We couldn't have done it without you, THANK YOU all whether you worked in construction, providing food or devotions, helping with registration, helping in our office, helping to renovate our NEW office, serving on a committee or any of the many other tasks our volunteers help us with. Habitat volunteers truly are the best! Lots of news to share in this issue, so I'll keep this short and let you peruse through our needs and kudos but I'd like to remind everyone we still need construction volunteers at our 3 Mashpee sites! All the information is on our on-line calendar on Volunteer Up. You can also call Susan Lauber, Volunteer Coordinator for the Mashpee builds and let her know what you are interested in you and she can find just the right place for you! If you are a new volunteer, just go to our web site, www.habitatcapecod.org and click on the Volunteer Up button (like the one below) and sign up!
Happy New Year- thank you for a great 2010 and here's to an even better 2011! Peace, hilary |

THANK YOU!
To our volunteer new office renovation team-too many folks to list here, but you know who you are...in fact a crew of volunteers was working through the punch list this week. The office looks wonderful and now we have a better "habitat" for us too...

Kudos to our amazing volunteer coordination teams for our Dennis and Wellfleet sites: Joanne Broderick, Margie Cummings, Paula Novak, Christine Gillstrom, Rev. Cal Mutti, Kathleen Nagle, Mary Fontenarosa, Jimmy Dishner, Annmarie Garceau, Barbara Mulligan-Rado, Rev. Phil Mitchell. Three wonderful homes were created and lots of love and energy were poured into them. Rest up, we'll need you next year too!

Thanks to the Board of Directors of Habitat who rolled up their sleeves and came out to help paint the home at Fox Hill Road in Mashpee on December 4th. A great turnout by a great team of volunteers-some of them were even good at painting the walls instead of themselves... (Just kidding board members, thank you for a great day!)

Kudos to another great float in the Falmouth Christmas Parade! Thanks to Jeannine Shapleigh, Sam Turner Road homeowner, her brother Mark Dalpe and our Upper Cape Chapter members and homeowner families, the HHCC float was a site to behold on a VERY chilly day.
