Registration Crew for
all of our sites
We need people to help staff our welcome and registration table at each of our sites. We need at least 2 people per build day from 7 AM- 10:30 AM.
Kayak Raffle tickets sellers needed!
Our beautiful handmade kayak will be at over 35 events this year and we need folks to help sell tickets at each event. Upcoming dates are August 25-26 in Chatham, September 4-5 at the Harwich Star Market, September 11-12 at the Eastham Windmill Festival, September 18-19 at the Harwich Cranberry Festival and the Cranberry Festival in Dennis Port. Contact the volunteer coordinators listed to the right if you can help out! |

Greetings!
Saturday, August 21st starts our 5th build for this year, our 4th Women Build project and our 73rd Habitat home on Cape Cod. The 3 bedroom ranch home on Timberlane Drive starts on Saturday and the build days are Thursdays and Saturdays. We have lots of women signed up to start us off, but we need more volunteers to sign up starting in September- novices are welcome- we teach! You can sign up for the Women Build or any of our current builds, the next 6-8 weeks of each are on-line at our new easy to use, on-line registration site Volunteer Up. Just go to our web site, www.habitatcapecod.org Can't believe summer is almost over and Labor Day is on the way...thank you for making this summer one of our most productive summers ever! |

Upper Cape Chapter Meeting, Monday, September 13th, 7 PM, Mashpee Senior Center, Route 151. Note this is usually the 1st Monday of the month but because of Labor Day, we are meeting on the 2nd Monday night of the month.
- Cape Air's 2nd Annual Dough Raiser at Uno Chicago Grill, Tuesday, September 14th 5:30-8 PM, Airport Rotary, Hyannis

ALL SITES ARE CLOSED SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 4th for LABOR DAY WEEKEND- ENJOY!
Dennis Port: started April 3, Tuesdays & Saturdays build days. The site is closed until August 31. On September 7, painting begins, then flooring will be installed throughout September.
Wellfleet: started May 8, Thursdays & Saturday build days. The site is now closed until August 26 when we will be starting drywall through September 2 and then the site will be closed until September 23.
South Dennis: started June 5, Tuesdays & Saturdays build days. The site will be closed for contract work until August 24 when we will be doing some painting and then closed again until September 7 when we will starting drywall.
Mashpee, Fox Hill: started July 17, Tuesdays & Saturdays build days. Next build day is August 24, we will be installing windows and doors and then painting the exterior and installing exterior decks through August 31. Then the site is closed until Septemebr 11 when we will start sidewalling/shingling.
Mashpee, Women Build, Timberlane Drive: starts on August 21, Thursdays & Saturdays build days. Building walls, setting trusses and then trimming the house takes us into September
Mashpee, Lakewood Drive: scheduled to start on September 18, Tuesdays & Saturdays build days. |
