| Volunteer Needs | |
If you can help with any of the below items, please contact Hilary Greene
Registration Coordinator for Fox Hill Road Mashpee site! We need someone to coordinate the registration crew for each build day (Tuesdays and Saturdays)- and we also need registration crew members.
Women Build experienced construction volunteers!
We need 3-4 more experienced women construction volunteers to help lead our volunteers at our upcoming Women Build project.
Women Build Site Hosts
This is a non-construction on-site volunteer position and we need 3-4 women to help us build the Women Build spirit at the build site every day.
Mugs for coffee break!
At our 10:00 break time at each of our sites, we use real mugs, not paper cups for our coffee to keep green! So if you've got some gently used mugs that are just taking up cabinet space, donate them to us for our thirsty workers!
Kayak Raffle tickets sellers needed!
Our beautiful handmade kayak will be at over 35 events this year and we need folks to help sell tickets at each event. Upcoming dates are July 31-August 1 in Sandwich, August 7-8 in Chatham, August 14 in Harwich, August 19-21 in Brewster, August 22 in Cotuit and August 25-26 in Chatham. Contact the volunteer coordinators listed to the right if you can help out! |

We now have 4 builds going with the Women Build ready to start August 21st! You can sign up for any of these builds, the next 6-8 weeks of each are on-line at our new easy to use, on-line registration site Volunteer Up. - Women Build construction training day at Fox Hill Road, Mashpee site, Monday, July 26th 9-12N
- Upper Cape Chapter Meeting, Monday, August 2 at 7 PM, Mashpee Senior Center, Route 151.
- Women Build first build day Saturday, August 21
- Volunteer Orientation Thursday, August 26 at 4 PM, HHCC office, 657 Route 28, West Yarmouth

Dennis Port: started April 3, Tuesdays & Saturdays build days. The next work day is August 3 and we will start hanging drywall for the next 3 build days (August 7 and 10)and then the site is closed until August 31. NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR AUGUST 3
Wellfleet: started May 8, Thursdays & Saturday build days. The site is now closed for contract work until August 12 and then closed after that until August 26 when we will be starting drywall.
South Dennis: started June 5, Tuesdays & Saturdays build days. The site will be closed for contract work until August 24 when we will be doing some painting and then closed again until September 7 when we will starting drywall.
Mashpee, Fox Hill: started July 17, Tuesdays & Saturdays build days. On July 24 we will be building stairs and prepping for the trusses and on July 27 we will be setting trusses and on July 31 we will be laying out the upstairs wall and building the upstairs exterior walls.
Mashpee, Women Build, Timberlane Drive: scheduled to start on August 21, Thursdays & Saturdays build days.
Mashpee, Lakewood Drive: scheduled to start on September 18, Tuesdays & Saturdays build days. |
