Food for our Mashpee Kick-off July 8th
We need finger food type foods, desseerts, appetizers etc. for our ligth reception following our kick off celebration at Christ The King Parish in Mashpee
Registration Coordinator for Fox Hill Road Mashppe site, build starts July 17! We need someone to coordinate the registration crew for each build day (Tuesdays and Saturdays)- and we also need registration crew members.
Women Build experienced construction volunteers!
We need 3-4 more experienced women construction volunteers to help lead our volunteers at our upcoming Women Build project.
Women Build Site Hosts
This is a non-construction on-site volunteer position and we need 3-4 women to help us build the Women Build spirit at the build site every day.
Mugs for coffee break!
At our 10:00 break time at each of our sites, we use real mugs, not paper cups for our coffee to keep green! So if you've got some gently used mugs that are just taking up cabinet space, donate them to us for our thirsty workers!
Kayak Raffle tickets sellers needed!
Our beautiful handmade kayak will be at over 35 events this year and we need folks to help sell tickets at each event. Upcoming dates are July 3-4 in Orleans, July 6-7 in Sandwich, July 10-11 in Chatham, July 14 in Falmouth, July 22-24 in Brewster and July 31- August 1 in Sandwich. Contact the volunteer coordinators listed to the right if you can help out! |

- Volunteer Orientation Thursday, June 24 at 4 PM, HHCC office, 657 Route 28, West Yarmouth
- Yard Sale & Lemonade Stand at Sam Turner Road, Falmouth Habitat neighborhood. Proceeds from the children's lemonade stand will go to Habitat, so please support them! Rain date July 10th.
- Mashpee Community Kick-off Thursday, July 8 at 7 PM, Christ the King Parish
- Upper Cape Chapter Meeting, Monday, June 12 at 7 PM, Mashpee Senior Center, Route 151. (This meeting usually takes place on the FIRST Monday night of the month, but is being moved for the holiday)

Our Cross Street Dennis Port food coordinator, Christine Gillstrom, was recently honored by the Dennis Chamber of Commerce as their VOLUNTEER of the YEAR! Congrats and thank you for all you do for us!
Did anyone pick up a blue cooler at the Wellfleet site recently? It belongs to one of our volunteers who was using it to bring us nice cold drinks...Please let us know if you know where it is...

Dennis Port: started April 3, Tuesdays & Saturdays build days, walls are up, roof is on, and contractors are in working until July 20
Wellfleet: started May 8, Thursdays & Saturday build days, walls are up, roof is on, next work day is June 24 for miscellaneous tasks, then exterior painting starts June 26.
South Dennis: started June 5, Tuesdays & Saturdays build days. Next build day is June 22 and we will be starting the roof work.
Mashpee, Fox Hill: scheduled to start on July 17, Tuesdays & Saturdays build days
Mashpee, Women Build: scheduled to start in mid-to late August, Thursdays & Saturdays build days
Mashpee, Lakewood Drive: scheduled to start in late September, Tuesdays & Saturdays build days. |
