Hi there!

It's Week 11 of your Summer Share, and we're halfway through!

It's the halfway point of your Summer Share with Fresh Fork Market, and we hope you've been enjoying it so far. We have another big bag for you this week-- we are at the high point of bumper crops these next few weeks, so get out your spiralizers and melon ballers because you are going to be eating a lot of fresh fruits and veggies!

What's in the bag: the omnivores have pack of our new Fresh Turkey Kielbasa. Fresh simply means not smoked, and they contain just turkey, garlic, salt and pepper. Best preps: lightly poach and grill, or roast, or cook sous-vide if you're really into kitchen gadgets. Turkey is a lean meat, so don't overdo it! Would go well with something sweet, like thinly sliced melon on a salad, or alongside sauted/grilled peaches and tomatoes.

Otherwise, you've all got some thin purple filet beans, ingredients for a gazpacho, a potato-leek soup, and the Large Share subscribers can have BLTs! The Vegetarian and Vegan subscribers are getting a selection of fruits (including a Crenshaw melon, which is sort of like a cross between a Cantaloupe and a Honeydew), so whip up some smoothies or cool soups to beat the heat.

We are halfway through the season now, and we are just beginning our preparations for the 2016-17 Winter Share and Thanksgiving! Can't believe we' re thinking about Brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes, but it'll be here before we know it. Keep posted to your newsletters to see the updates about registration and ordering.

Each season, you'll see hundreds of different fruits, vegetables, cheeses, meats, grains and more locally-produced foods, and many heirloom varieties that thrive on our small, NE Ohio farms.
Some of them might be totally new to you, like this beautiful Yellow Doll Watermelon that's coming in your shares this week.

If you ever wonder "what is that veggie?" we have a Visual Guide to all of our foods. Also, every week on Wednesday afternoons we post pictures of the Bag Contents for that week.
