Welcome to August and Week 10, everyone!
We are really hitting our stride with summer produce this week-- with all the heat and finally some rain we are swimming in tomatoes, melons, peaches and corn. The bags are going to get more colorful and heavier from here on out, and you're all going to have to come up with some creative ways to use up all these summer bumper crops. If you need some ideas for ways to cook your 34th zucchini or eggplant, don't forget we have a huge collection of recipes on Pinterest, and whole boards dedicated to Summer Recipes, Vegetarian Recipes, Zucchini Overload and All Things Tomatoes.
What's in the bag: you're going to see some melons, blueberries, peaches, sweet corn, tomatoes, eggplants, peppers and all sorts of beautiful hot-weather veggies and fruits. Also, a few times each Summer Share, the Omnivore Bags and Vegetarian Bags are the same (so no meat in the small shares this week), but we have a pound of Ohio City Pasta's Garlic-Scape Linguine in everyone's bags (except the vegans, who will get an extra melon instead!)

Sweet Corn Time!
We have sweet corn coming in your bags this week, and you'll likely see it most weeks for the rest of its season, either for sale or in your shares.
Sweet corn is best as soon as you can eat it, so enjoy it raw, grilled, or baked this week. Here is a story about our sweet corn and how it's grown, and why it's just so much better when you can get it locally. |

If you're on our Monthly Payment Plan or have a balance on your account from purchases made at the back of the truck you should be receiving a payment reminder soon.

You can also make a full or partial payment at any time by signing into your account to check your balance and pay with a credit card, or bring a check or cash to the stops this week.
If you're paying with check either by bringing it into the stops or by mail (3800 Woodland Avenue, Cleveland OH 44115), please write your email address associated with the account on the check.
If you're paying with cash, please remember to ask your Greeter for a receipt.

Trevor's Ratatouille
Trevor says he makes the best ratatouille around. Well... it is seriously delicious. One of the things that sets this one apart is that he roasts all the vegetables independently first, and then cooks them all together. He also peels his eggplant, which can get tough during cooking. Try it on top of the pasta in this week's bag!
