fact60th Anniversary Fun Fact
Located at the southwest corner of Schaumburg and Roselle Roads, the Schaumburg Clock Tower was completed in 1996 and is the centerpiece of Veterans Gateway Park. The clock tower measures 64 feet from base to peak. The park in which it is located is dedicated to the men and women who have selflessly served our country through the armed forces. The gardens, flag poles and seating areas encircling the clock tower create a unique space devoted to our war veterans. The park also functions as a gateway to Town Square and serves as a physical symbol of Schaumburg's respect for veterans.

Located at 900 National Parkway, the Rabine Group property includes a green roof, parking lot displays on various construction types and an auditorium that The Rabine Group uses as its Paving and Roofing Institute to educate customers and potential clients from around the nation about their products and services.

Gary has received Schaumburg's Entrepreneur of the Year Award, was a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and was inducted into the UIC Chicagoland Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame. In 2013, Gary received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the University of Illinois for entrepreneurial achievement.

Gary and his wife, Cheryl, founded the Rabine Group Foundation, which is a nonprofit that focuses on enriching the lives of children, elderly, and underprivileged individuals.
