smallbizShop Schaumburg's Small Businesses Saturday, Nov. 28
While Schaumburg is a place for big business, did you know that a majority of the businesses represented in Schaumburg are actually made up of less than 100 employees? Retailers alone with less than 100 employees make up almost 580 establishments in the village. So while we encourage all kinds of shopping in Schaumburg, it is especially important to shop Small Business Saturday (Nov. 28) to help boost the local economy and support the great small businesses that serve as the foundation of our community. I-390 Ramp Updates
The westbound I-390 ramp to southbound Gary Avenue is scheduled to reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30.

I-90 Tollway Updates
The Meacham Road contractor plans to pour the new concrete for pavement on the south side of I-90 sometime early next week.  The Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center driveway off of Meacham Road will reopen by Tuesday, Dec. 1.

The Roselle Road team will work on building the new pavement on the west side of Roselle Road south of I-90 after the holidays.

Contractors working on the I-90 mainline project continue to install new pavement before the winter season takes hold. The new collector-distributor road on the north side of I-90 in front of the Renaissance and Motorola has been constructed. Traffic may move to that pavement yet this year to open up additional work areas near the future Meacham Road interchange ramps.

The Roselle Road contractor does plan to work the Friday after Thanksgiving, but work is not expected to interfere with traffic. Be sure to visit the village's website for further information and other updates on this project.
