Re-enrollment 2016-17
NFCS Re-enrollment for the 2016-2017 school year is officially open!

Can you believe the 2015-2016 school year is more than half over? The Admissions Office is getting busier by the day. In fact, more students are enrolled now than when school started in August! And it doesn't seem to be slowing down. We are so grateful for God's goodness to us.

You can complete the re-enrollment process by using our RenWeb on-line program. Please check your email for more details on the re-enrollment process.

Thank you for your commitment to NFC. We are blessed to have you as part of the NFC family.

NFC Wrestling Team
After advancing from wins during the District Tournament, the NFC Boys Wrestling Team recently participated in the FHSAA Regional Wrestling Tournament.

Freshman Landon Kelly, who wrestled at 106 lbs. finished 0-2 but had some great matches with older wrestlers.  Senior
Jack Marsh, in the 160 lbs. division, also went 0-2, but made his coaches feel good about a loss after hard fought matches. Senior Phil Gardner wrestled at 170 lbs. going 2-2 losing two tough matches by points. Junior David Lunn, who wrestled at 182 lbs. went 1-2 losing a tough match against the #3 wrestler in the state that would have put him in the medal round. Senior
Nolan Kelly wrestled in the 195 lbs. division and went 2-2 in regional, just missing the medal round. Junior Jonathan Wainwright wrestled at 220 lbs. and finished the tournament 2-2.  Jonathan caught the toughest bracket of them all losing to the #4 and #6 ranked wrestlers in the state
We are proud of our team as NFC finished 21st (23.5 pts) out of 31 teams attending. Rival school University Christian finished 20th with 24 pts.

NFC Tennis Team
The NFC Tennis teams pulled off two straight District upsets. Last week the Boys and the Girls tennis teams beat Florida High 5-4 and 6-2 respectively. Chris Pham in his second year has risen to the number one spot and won the clinching match 8-4. He had just come off a #1 doubles win with brother, Kevin Pham, in an exciting tie-breaker 8-7.
This week the boys beat Madison County 4-3 as Will Brinson and David Slemp teamed up for the clinching doubles victory. On the girl's side, Laura Ceci led the way with singles and doubles wins against both district opponents. Laura doubled with Aimee Williams in an unbeatable combination (4-0 this season).

6th grader Ashlynn Stennett also had two wins against Florida High partnering up with Allysa Mears in her doubles match. The girls won 6 out of the 8 matches on the day. This week they took on Madison County, down 4-2 going into the doubles matches. Allysa paired with Victoria Trawick for the #2 doubles win, followed by Audrey Spooner and Mikayla Trawick who came through with the deciding win of the match (5-4). Both teams are battling JP II for the second seed in a district of seven schools.
