Kindergarten Graduation

Tonight our kindergarten classes will graduate into the world of elementary school. The students and teachers have been preparing for months for this special night. The students will present a grand display of all they have learned in the year of kindergarten. Come out and celebrate with our kindergarteners this big accomplishment!

Baccalaureate Service
This year's service will be held Wednesday, May 27th, in the sanctuary of North Florida Baptist Church. All graduating seniors are required to attend. Family and guests are welcome. The service will begin at 7:00p.m.
High School Graduation

This year's graduation ceremony will be held on Friday, May 29th, at 7:00p.m. in the NFBC sanctuary. This year's commencement speaker will be Leon County Sheriff Mike Wood. We hope to see you all at this wonderful event which is the culmination of the school year.

Eagle Sports
Baseball
Congratulations to the Eagle Baseball Team for finishing the year 21-10 and advancing to the State Championship Game.

Congratulations to Senior Cole Sands for being  selected to play in the Florida Athletic Coaches Association State All Star game.  Cole played in the game on May 22-23 in Sebring, Florida.

Spring Sports Banquet                                                 
The Spring Sports varsity banquet is June 1, 6:30 p.m.at the Capital City CC.   Tickets are on sale now in the athletic office for $25 each.  Tickets must be purchase by 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26.

 

Call Diane Todd in the athletic office at x123 or email her dianetodd@nflchurch.com  to make your purchase.    Varsity players must reserve a seat by seeing Diane Todd in the athletic office or parents may include that in an email to her.

It's Time for Re-enrollment
Re-enrollments completed after May 31st will result in a flat $200 per student fee, with no application towards August tuition. All payments are non-refundable.

 

You may complete the re-enrollment process by using our RenWeb on-line program. Select the Family Information Tab on the left, and then click Enrollment/Reenrollment. You will be guided through the process concluding with payment.

 

Our office personnel will be glad to assist you and answer any questions you may have.  

NFC Summer Camps
NFC offers a variety of camps this summer for students in grades 1-6.   Please see the dates below for a full list. Camp is from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day for a cost of $160 including lunch.  Aftercare is available from 3:30-5:45 for an additional cost of $50 for the week. Brochures were sent home and are available in the office. If you would like to  reserve a spot or have questions please call Diane Todd in the athletic office at x123.

Vacation Bible School
North Florida Baptist Church
Everest VBS is coming soon! North Florida Baptist Church will be having Vacation Bible School on June 22nd-26th from 9am-noon. Join us for a week full of games, singing, snacks, and crafts as we learn about God's Mighty Power!

Children who have completed 3 year old preschool and are completely potty trained through children entering 6th grade can be registered. 
All middle school and high school students are invited to volunteer to help. This week provides 20 hours of community service!

Jr/Sr Banquet

At this year's event, held Friday, May 15th, at Golden Eagle Country Club, the juniors and seniors enjoyed an evening looking back on the great year it is been and looking forward to the 2015-2016 school year. Chandler Stutler, outgoing SGA president, gave a moving speech thanking his classmates, teachers, administrators and parents for their contributions to the success of the 2014-2015 school year. He ended his speech with the announcement of the SGA officers for the 2015-2016 school year and turned the microphone over to Tanner Clemons, incoming president who challenged his classmates to rise to the occasion and who has chosen I Corinthians 10:21 as his rallying cry for his class. Our Lost and Found box on the breezeway is getting full!  Please be sure to check our red and black Lost and Found box outside of Coach Cole's office for any items you may be missing so far this year. We will be donating any items after Friday to the James 215 project for those in need.

Summer Reading
Elementary

Our summer reading forms have gone home and we are looking for some Super Readers to return in August. Reading together with your child will help develop a love of reading and expands their minds and imaginations! Extra forms are available in the office if needed.

 

Middle School and High School

Summer reading lists for grades 6 - 12 will be out next week. There will be a new format for summer reading reports, so be on the look out for the new and improved summer reading!
