3rd Grade Chapel Program

On Wednesday, December 10th, our third grade presented "Angel Alert" in the auditorium. The program carried us behind the scenes of what was happening in the angel world the night of the first Christmas. It was a true blessing as we celebrate the birth of our Savior. The students have been working diligently preparing for the program. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the presentation and left with a song in their hearts and a true message from God's Word presented by our third graders.

Preschool Christmas Pageant

Our 3K and 4K classes kicked off our Christmas season with our annual Preschool Christmas Pageant on Wednesday, December 4th. This program is a wonderful way to remember the true reason for the season as we celebrate our Savior's birth. The students presented wonderful songs of the season as shepherds, wise men, angels, and of course Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus presented the true story of Christmas. It is a delightful way to start this holiday season!

Eagle Praise Performs at the Capitol

Our own Eagle Praise was invited to ring in the Christmas season by performing on the steps of the Old Capitol building. The students serenaded the crowd with songs of the Christmas season and singing of the birth of our Savior. Afterwards they were treated to cookies and juice. The Florida Channel is expected to show the performances from the Capitol sometime in December. Check their web site for program information.

Tropicana Speech Contest

On Friday we held our annual 4H Tropicana Speech Contest for grades 4 & 5. All of the students presented speeches in their classrooms. The teachers chose three from each class to be in the contest. The first place winner will represent our school at the county level.

Please be sure your child turns in their library books or outstanding fines before the Christmas break. Thank you for your help with this!
Lost and Found

'Tis the Season...for lost things! With our 40 degree mornings and 75 degree afternoons it seems that our children forget they even brought a jacket to school.  This means that our Lost and Found box on the breezeway is getting full!  Please be sure to check our red and black Lost and Found box outside of Coach Cole's office for any items you may be missing so far this year.  Please be sure to check before December 17th as we will be donating any items after that date to the James 215 project for those in need.

On- Line Classes
All On-Line Courses must be finished by Christmas Break. If students are doing FLVS classes, the first segment must be 100% completed by Christmas Break. If students are doing Ignitia classes, they are required to have at least half (50%) of the course completed. In most cases this would be through Unit 5, sometimes 6 if there are 12 units total.  If not completed, an "F" will be recorded for report card or transcript purposes.
