Silent Auction Items

HELP! We need items for our Silent Auction and Raffle. Ask your hairstylist, ask your waiter/waitress, ask the business you take your car to. Almost anything can be bid on. Each class is working toward a goal of $1,000.00 in items in monetary donations. Classes that meet or exceed their goal will win a pizza party!

HarvestFest and Silent Auction

Make plans now to join us for this year's Harvest Fest. The event will take place on Friday, November 7th. We need volunteers to help us make this event a success. If you are interested in helping, please contact Cara Wynn, Lynn Burgess or Christa Biddle for more information.
Please tell you friends and family to join us for this community wide event. There will be food, games, inflatables, a Raffle, the Children's Art Auction and the Silent Auction. Arm bands will be on sale starting October 27th and are $20. They will give your child unlimited games and jumps all night.

4th Grade Art Classes Special Visitor

 Elementary Art students learning about Native American art, got a special treat when Sydney Hackney's brother Brendan Carter came to share his knowledge of the Native American Culture and specifically Chief Osceola. Brendan portrays Chief Osceola, the FSU Mascot that charges down the field and plants a flaming spear at midfield to begin every home football game. The students loved learning about Brendan's Native American ancestry, his knowledge of Chief Osceola, and his role as FSU's famous mascot.

Football
NFCS will paint it Pink tonight for October's Breast Cancer Awareness month. We are asking students to wear pink to the football game. We will also be raising funds for local Breast Cancer Awareness during the game.
Cross Country
The varsity boys and girls cross country teams will be competing in districts on Tuesday, October 28 at Maclay. The meets will start at 9 am for the girls followed by the boys meet.

Bright Futures Scholarship Opportunity

 Students with a positive track record of community service, academic achievement and leadership skills are encouraged to apply for a Bright Futures Scholarship. Students can win up to $1500 in 15 different categories. For more information and to apply for the scholarship, click here.

SAT / ACT Testing

Please note the following testing opportunities. Only two opportunities are left this semester. Remember that you must have a proper photo ID and an admission ticket to be admitted into the testing site.

On October 28th, we will have our first Open House. Open House is a time for our parents to come and visit in their child's classroom and pick up report cards.

Please join North Florida  Baptist Church as they hold a Trunk 'N Treat event on October 29th from 6:00-7:30 in the NFBC parking lot. Children are encouraged to dress in a non-scary costume. If you have any questions, please contact the Elementary Office at 386-6327 x153.
