Faculty Focus exhibitions are presented biennially and feature photographic works from faculty of the Southeast Center for Photographic Studies, a joint enterprise of the photography programs at Daytona State College, the University of Central Florida (Daytona Campus) and the Southeast Museum of Photography. This year's exhibition is a survey of new work by photography professors with Daytona State College and the University of Central Florida, Daytona Beach.

DEPARTURES 2016
A Juried Student Exhibition

On view through July 30, 2016

Departures is a juried exhibition that highlights photography by recent graduates of the Daytona State College photography program. Since the program's inception over 50 years ago, Daytona State College Photography Program graduates have taken their place among the nation's leading photographers. The program has since grown into one of the largest, most comprehensive commercial photography programs in the Southeastern U.S. This is the tenth year that the Southeast Museum of Photography has had the honor of showcasing the work of these recent graduates and it will continue to be a yearly summer event at the museum.

UCF THESIS EXHIBITION 2016
Graduating Student Photography from the University of Central Florida (Daytona Beach)

On view through July 30, 2016

Now in its 5th year, the UCF Thesis Exhibition showcases portfolios by recent graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Photography program from the University of Central Florida. The students' thesis work involves photographic explorations of topics that are both personal and public, color and black-and-white, moving and still. This work is a culmination of four years of study in photography.

The third installment of our Youth In Focus series features the work of Cece Cvercko, a 15 year-old photography student who attends Seabreeze High School. Our Youth In Focus series is a collaborative effort, providing the unique opportunity for a young artist to be personally involved in producing their very own solo exhibition. It encourages young artists to envision and thoughtfully plan and produce a complete body of work to be shown in a professional setting.

Unless noted otherwise, all museum exhibitions, events and films are presented at the Southeast Museum of Photography which is located on the Daytona Beach campus of Daytona State College at 1200 International Speedway Blvd, three miles east of I-95.
