Life School Musical to be
Presented Sunday
All of our children's choirs will offer Life School Musical, by Pam Andrews, Rob Howard, and David Guthrie, this Sunday, April 28, as the sermon for our 9:30 am (The Point) and 11:00 am worship services. This high-energy musical is based on Psalm 25:4-5.
Quoting the Life School Musical Website: "When Miss Knowsalot's class at Life School begins on this particular Friday, the students have no idea what a special day it is destined to be! Ben, the new kid, and all the other students get the surprise of their life when colorful characters from the Bible materialize on the scene to truly bring their lessons to life. By the end of this delightful romp they have come face to face with the life-changing power of the Gospel, and they've been handed the keys to life by some very special characters."
Come and be inspired by our talented children, and please invite family and friends!

Caring for God's Creation
We celebrated God's Creation in worship last Sunday, April 21. This is a perfect time to introduce our new team for environmental stewardship: Susan Creasey and Bob Shippee, leaders; and Vickey Verwey, Sue Agee, Ellie Manspile, and Christina Nagi.
Members of this team will use their talents to discover ways to implement parts of The Green Church Initiative, so we can strive to be better caretakers of God's creation. Be on the lookout for easy changes you can make at church and at home to help respect our planet.

Youth News
On Sunday, April 28, the youth group will continue planning for Youth Sunday, with the theme "God Has Work for Us to Do."
The schedule for the evening is as follows:
4:30 pm - Combined choir
5:30 pm - Dinner ($3)

The retreat will meet at camp Westview on the James and will include sessions divided (at various points) for boys and girls, and for middle school students and high school students. Derek Jones and Michelle Wolff will facilitate. Derek has produced curriculum for youth ministry, and Michelle is a Ph. D. candidate at Duke University. Both have extensive training in Christian ethics and practical decision-making. The cost for the event is $30, payable to Reveille UMC by April 30.
HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS: Reveille is your family. Please let the church office
know your plans for this fall. At worship on May 12, Reveille will recognize our graduating seniors, so also please confirm whether you are available to be part of the 11:00 am service that day.

Hear Great Music, Support Swansboro
Love music? Want to help support Swansboro Elementary School? Do both by enjoying a night of musical variety sponsored by Elizabeth Bell and featuring musicians and singers from the Richmond community. Selections will range from classical, to jazz, to modern pieces and will showcase the talent of many performers, including some Reveille members.
Concert proceeds will go toward Swansboro's Dancing Classrooms program, which teaches ballroom dancing to students as a vehicle for learning manners and respect. The concert will be at 7:30 pm on Friday, May 17, in the sanctuary. A dessert reception will follow. If you would like to support Dancing Classrooms, see Reveille musicians perform, or just hear some great music, we hope to see you there!
