Debut 30th Anniversary Editions

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA

Brown Jordan, the leading luxury outdoor furnishings manufacturer and distinguished legacy brand, brings to market two 30th Anniversary Editions of Quantum - the first collection created for Brown Jordan by noted designer Richard Frinier. A contemporary classic, Quantum set a new standard for casual furniture in 1983, garnering critical acclaim and design honors from the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA), as well as The Resource Council's ROSCOE Design Commendation Award.

"Quantum offers an elevated, yet approachable aesthetic that is truly timeless," says Stephen F. Elton, chief brand officer. "Since we first introduced Quantum, the collection has been a specification favorite. Three decades later, new material options offer a compelling mix for Brown Jordan's following of architects, interior designers and landscape architects."

Brown Jordan and Richard Frinier have evolved the original Quantum design by developing new seating surfaces that use the Brown Jordan Parabolic sling textile and Resinweave woven fiber.

Both 30th Anniversary editions retain the fundamental architectural styling of the Quantum framework, while incorporating two of Brown Jordan's most sought after proprietary materials. Quantum Parabolic is now available in any of seven parabolic sling textile colors; Quantum Woven is available in Sepia Resinweave, an earthy new hue. Both are available in Brown Jordan Signature and Premium frame finishes.

The 30th Anniversary Editions of Quantum Parabolic and Quantum Woven are comprised of an Arm/Dining Chair, Lounge Chair, Ottoman and Adjustable Chaise that may be paired with Quantum tables or Swim, Sway and Elements tables from the Richard Frinier Collection for Brown Jordan.

Debut Savannah Collection

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA

Brown Jordan has introduced the Savannah dining and lounge collection from the 2013 Richard Frinier Collection for Brown Jordan. Drawing inspiration from the exquisite details of French Wire and Victorian woven metal furniture, the designer has achieved the quintessential expression of classic garden furniture forms.

"Savannah clearly takes its cues from tradition," said Stephen F. Elton, chief brand officer. "The collection evokes an earlier era, yet recalls the past without nostalgia. Rather, Richard Frinier has given Savannah a contemporary feel by distilling the essence of the shapes and details we associate with this classic style."

Skillfully fashioned using stainless-steel wire hand-woven and interlaced over a powder-coated aluminum frame, the Savannah collection includes an Armless Side Chair, Arm/Dining Chair, Lounge Chair, Ottoman, Loveseat/Sofa and Daybed. Tables include a 54" Round Pedestal Dining Table, a 44" x 78" Rectangular Dining Table, as well as Occasional and Coffee Tables. Tabletops are made of either a lightweight fiber reinforced concrete or a choice of Sable or Moca Resinweave.

For the fall markets, Brown Jordan will show Savannah in three colors: Vintage, which is reminiscent of heirloom French-wire furnishings left to patina in the garden; Versailles, an aged iron finish; and Pure, a classic, off-white shade. Savannah will be available in all Signature and Premium frame finishes.

Introduce the Southhampton Collection

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA

Brown Jordan has introduced its woven Southampton collection, a transitional lounge and dining group that bridges the romance of the past and the relaxed elegance of modern lifestyles. Southampton brings two beautiful new colors to Brown Jordan's woven category: Sage, a muted grey/green hue and Sienna, a neutral brown that pairs beautifully with any cushion upholstery fabric.

"Brown Jordan introduced woven resin fiber furniture to the U.S. market," said Stephen F. Elton, chief brand officer, "and our new Southampton collection represents an elegant addition to the category. Southampton has a vintage look with all the warmth and appeal of traditional cottage and porch furnishings, but feels fresh an sophisticated. It is destined to become a new classic."

Beautifully crafted using Brown Jordan's propriety Resinweave hand-woven over powder-coated aluminum frames, the Southampton collection includes an Arm/Dining Chair, Armless Side Chair and Lounge Chair, Ottoman, Loveseat, Sofa and an Adjustable Chaise. Southampton tables include a 54" Round Pedestal Dining Table, a 44" x 78" Rectangular Dining Table and Coffee and Occasional Tables.

Tabletops are made using either a lightweight fiber reinforced concrete or Resinweave in either Sable or Moca. Southampton seating is available in Sage and Sienna, new variegated hues inspired by the nuanced colors of natural dry grasses and marsh botanicals.

Resinweave is impervious to the elements and will not fade, crack or peel in sun or rain. Both the resin fiber and aluminum frame are 100 percent recyclable.

"As the name of this collection suggests," said Richard Frinier, "I was inspired by the beautiful architecture and casual-chic lifestyles of the famous seaside colony known as 'the Hamptons.' The materials, colors and transitional stylin"

Southampton seating pieces are designed to require minimal maintenance while providing maximum comfort. Each piece is fitted with cushions upholstered in Brown Jordan's Suncloth fabric offered in an array of colors, stripes and patterns.
