Tom Pugh's sudden passing stunned and saddened us all. Whenever a unique figure such as Tom leaves the stage, his absence is palpable. But life goes on and we all must adapt.
To our many business partners, we look forward to the opportunity to serve you and continue to earn your loyalty. Thanks for your patience during this transitional period.
More changes are surely coming and I invite you all to be a part of the process. Please contact me personally with any concerns, advice, thoughts, etc., as we move forward.
My new independent rep firm will be called, "Pugh and Associates," as an acknowledgement of the many contributions made to us all by Tom and his father, Lloyd. I'll be working with and mentoring other new ICC reps as they come aboard and are announced. I will also be privileged to continue with Greenfan and Royal Hearth fans that have grown to be a valuable asset to our distributors.

Dear Friends and Colleagues,
We are saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Stuart Johnson on February 13, 2013.
Family was always extremely important to Stuart. He was a loving and supportive husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. An opportunity was never missed by him to expand his family and take someone else into it.
He was a mentor, a leader, and an innovator in the industry. Stuart joined the business started by his grandfather and began working with his father, Gordon Johnson, in 1963. Chuck Belcher was later added as a partner. In recent years, he turned the business over to his partners Jennifer O'Kelley (daughter) and Steve Carroll (long-time partner) along with his other children Jo Ellen Kuehnel and Mitch Johnson that currently compose this 4th generation business.
His business life was dedicated to bringing families together through the celebration of fire. He represented the Robert H. Peterson Company, with honor, for a half century and was well-respected in the Hearth Industry having proudly served on its board.
Stuart mentioned on multiple occasions that he was humbled by the lucky life he had lived to that point; all that knew him know better than to consider it luck. Stuart passed away from a cardiac event, at the pinnacle of his career and having just completed the most beautiful round of golf in the Los Angeles hills, surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Above all, he was with family and friends--to the end.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 42 years, Barbara Turner Johnson. He is now survived by his current loving wife, Gloria Bach Johnson, his three children, Jo Ellen Johnson-Kuehnel, Jennifer O'Kelley and her husband Gene, Mitch Johnson and his wife Mitsy, all of metro Atlanta, step-son Brad Hornibrook and wife Leslie of Birmingham, AL, a sister Bonnie Billington of Decatur, GA, a brother Ross Johnson of Montevallo, AL, seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many friends that will all carry his light.
