Carls Patio Has Filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection
A press release sent out via Hearth & Home's eNews letter on Tuesday, January 22 indicated that an ownership group had signed a purchase agreement to acquire the assets of Carls Patio from the current owners.
What that document failed to indicate was that Carls Patio, Inc. and its affiliates Carls Patio West, Inc. and Terrace 436 Inc. had voluntarily filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection the previous night in Delaware (see case number 1:13-bk-1-102). |

Sphinx to Throw Grand Opening Celebration in Las Vegas
DALTON, GEORGIA
Sphinx by Oriental Weavers is opening their new and greatly expanded showroom next week at the Las Vegas World Market. A grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting will be held from 4 pm-7 pm on Jan. 28, 2013.
At nearly 10,000 sq. ft., the new showroom is 50 percent larger than the company's previous space It is located on the third floor of building C in suite # C-395. The new space is part of the Las Vegas World Market's new collection of high-end home décor resources on C3 as an extension of the highly-successful B3 initiative that launched at the Summer 2012 Market.
The grand opening celebration will feature an iPad Mini giveaway every hour, a sushi chef on-site, a made-to-order noodle bar, cocktails and a group photo booth to capture memories of the event.
The grand opening event will be the perfect time to review Sphinx's debut of six new collections and more than 125 new designs during the Las Vegas World Market Show.
