Larger Facility in Los Angeles

Northcape International, manufacturer and distributor of high-quality, high-value outdoor woven furniture and accessories for over 10 years, has opened an expanded distribution and production facility in Los Angeles, California.  

 

The new class A industrial building is 120 percent larger than its previous West Coast facility and will be used to distribute the full line of warehouse collections offered by NorthCape. The building will also house an updated showroom for retailers and dealers to view NorthCape collections. 

 

On the manufacturing front, this facility will allow the company to double its production staff and cushion manufacturing capacity on the West Coast.  The U.S. based manufacturing of cushions has been and will continue to be an area of significant growth for the company.

"The growth of our business in the western region of the United States made it necessary to expand our capabilities," said Tom Murray, president of NorthCape International. "We're excited about this new facility, which will more than double our delivery system capacity in the region."  

 

Murray added that the new facility will also help streamline North American logistics, which will improve shipping times. 

 

NorthCape currently has five North American distribution centers in Illinois, New Jersey, Florida, California and Ontario; these multiple delivery points help keep both freight rates and shipping times down for dealers. For high-volume dealers, NorthCape offers a direct-import and quick-ship program that allows customers to receive merchandise quickly in season as well as have the ability to customize orders with items not available in the domestic warehouse program.

The Big Green Egg
Launches Line of Seasonings
 

ATLANTA, GEORGIA

 

The Big Green Egg is used by backyard grillers and chefs all over the world to produce amazing culinary results, whether grilling, roasting, smoking or baking inside the distinctive domed green EGG.  

 

Now the company is expanding the culinary experience with the launch of six inspired seasonings that make up the new Big Green Egg Dizzy Gourmet line. Unlike many of the seasonings in today's marketplace, Dizzy Gourmet is made from scratch using only great ideas, high quality spices, fresh herbs, no preservatives and nothing artificial.  

 

"Our rubs and seasonings are all about fun and flavor - there's no bad karma, msg or gluten - nothing is added unless it tastes great and is good for you," said marketing manager Jodi Burson at the launch. "Big Green Egg fans are passionate about quality, whether it's their use of the EGG or the well-chosen ingredients used in their recipes. They are looking for all-natural products to enhance their culinary experience."  

 

To create the ultimate seasonings, Big Green Egg has partnered with The Dizzy Pig BBQ Company, well known for its innovative and unique products that have inspired fans throughout the barbecue world.  

 

"I'm a huge fan of the Big Green Egg," said Chris Capell, owner of Dizzy Pig. "For years I've been cooking on the EGG at home, winning with the EGG at barbecue competitions and soaking up the camaraderie of fellow EGGhead chefs. TUUCI Unveils New Website 

MIAMI, FLORIDA

 

TUUCI introduces a fresh online presence this month with the launch of its newly designed website. Created to showcase TUUCI's cutting edge designs in parasols, pavilions, lounges and shade sculptures, the new website features an easy and elegant interactive format splashed with stunning photography.   

 

"We want visitors to our website to see how TUCCI's unique shade systems can enhance the look, feel and comfort of any outdoor environment, so we photographed our products in some incredibly beautiful locations," said TUUCI industrial designer, founder and CEO Dougan Clarke.  "Whether you're looking to add shade by a pool, near the ocean, outside your business or on a boat, these new visuals really capture the imagination and show what's possible with our designs." 

 

The website is being launched in conjunction with TUUCI's new product catalog, which includes the company's entire 2012 collection of beautifully engineered and functionally superior shade structures, including new products such as the Plantation MAX F-1, the Ocean Master MAX F-1, the Bay Master Cantilever and the Vineyard Cantilever. 

 

The website also features interesting extras such as videos, behind-the-scenes photos and the TUUCI blog, all seamlessly integrated to draw visitors into the site and the catalog.
