D&D:  On the Road,
to the Tower...

Reminder
Session 12:  On the Road, to the Tower...
Cayn has threatened to take over Liam's body if he doesn't return him (A Brass Ring with an Arcane Symbol on it) to his Tower.  Liam knows they are heading east to a Portal that will take them within 2 days of his Tower.  It will likely take 4+ days to get to this portal.  Although this is taking the entire group in the wrong direction, Cayn has offered to provide them transportation to the north.  Shaving weeks off their travel time was very appealing.
  
Currently the group is traveling out of the swamp on a trail that hasn't seen a single wagon in months.  The wagon is holding up quite well and the less than perfect conditions.  One side of the wagon also took some severe Lightening damage.  The scortch mark is quite impressive.  That side of the wagon creeks and moans a bit.
Session 12:  On the Road, to the Tower...
Sub-Plot:  Get me outta this Swamp!
The session will begin near dusk after uneventful travel.  The swampy surroundings gave way to dry land quite quickly.  The land is a rolling plain with the occasional tree and rocky outcropping.  The road has followed the edge of the Sword Mountains.  Sun setting and the realization that the trail has completely deteriorated has brought everything to a stop.  The terrain won't prevent travel, but it will be infinitely harder to travel at night, plus the need to stay on a true course has become very important.
