Cayn has threatened to take over Liam's body if he doesn't return him (A Brass Ring with an Arcane Symbol on it) to his Tower.  Liam knows they are heading east to a Portal that will take them within 2 days of his Tower.  It will likely take 4+ days to get to this portal.  Although this is taking the entire group in the wrong direction, Cayn has offered to provide them transportation to the north, taking many weeks off their travel time.

  

Currently the group is traveling out of the swamp on a trail that hasn't seen travel in months.  The wagon is holding up quite well and the less than perfect conditions.  One side of the wagon also took some severe Lightening damage.  The scortch mark is quite impressive.  That side of the wagon creeks and moans a bit.

Through strategy and shere force of will the Horn of Tempus has defeated the Talon of the Raven in open combat.  Beriek was slain, and his unusual Spear claimed as trasure by Isbjorn, the Drow Slayer.  An usual twist of fate has given way to a side quest that may allow our heroes to gain some distance towards their goal in the north.

  

What would have been a journey deeper into the swamp is actually taking the group East into the plains.  Although the majority of the party isn't sure where they are headed, Liam as assured everyone he knows what he is doing.  Cayn will be returned to his tower!
