Auntie Wooly Says:

Dahlings!

October is obviously one of my favorite times in Cambria because of the Scarecrow Festival.

This year will be fun in September as we'll be one of the hosts of the first ever SLO County Yarn Crawl!

Scheduled for the weekend of September 21 and 22, it should be a lot of fun for all. Save the dates and we will send out more information as we get our plans more settled.

Until next time... Happy Stitching, My Dears!

Speaking of Rowan, have you seen "Fine Art", their new hand-dyed sock yarn? We have every color in stock, and they're all fabulous.

Love it or not, the colors are amazing. Mr. Noro has given us naturally processed yarns in these incredible colors for over 40 years. The new colors of Kureyon, Taiyo, Taiyo Sock, Silk Garden, and Shiraito are all in and, as you might expect, they're beautiful.

Crochet a Zoo A Busy Summer
Summer starts here in Cambria with our fun and fabulous July 4th celebrations, with an all-day party at Shamel Park, then fireworks after dark over Moonstone Beach.

In the shop, we have a trunk show from the cute new crochet book "Crochet a Zoo". Just wait till you see these adorable creatures!

In August, Mira from Baah Yarns will be here on Saturday August 10 showing her beautiful yarns and patterns. Come see this beautiful, wonderful to knit with, machine-washable yarn that is hand dyed here in California!

Labor Day Weekend, Saturday August 30 and Sunday September 1, brings not only the Pinedorado Parade but also the return of our good friends from Pagewood Farm who will be showcasing their unique yarns. There's usually lots of spinning and needle felting going on as well, so don't miss this fun-filled weekend with one of our favorite hand dyed companies, also from California!

Saturday September 7, come join us for a fun evening of story, yarn, and magic! Cheryl Potter, author of the new book "The Broken Circle" part 1 of the Potluck Yarn Trilogy, will be in the shop with designs from the book.

More to come, stay tuned!

Email List Signup Two New Email lists

First, a heart felt thank you for choosing to receive this email. We get so many kind comments about it. It makes us so happy to know there seem to be many that enjoy our little notes from Cambria.

We thought we'd also let you know, we've created two new email lists you can subscribe to, in addition to this one.

One is a list to get the most advanced notices about our planned Peru trip! Everyone on this list will get the earliest news about this exciting adventure, tentatively scheduled for May of 2014!

The other email we're calling "Hot News". So many of us get so many emails, we really don't want to be overwhelmed, even from those we may want to hear from. That's the reason our main email only comes about once a month. "Hot News" will come approximately once a week and will be more 'product' focused. Things like new yarns in the shop, special events as they're confirmed, and anything else that may be of interest in a timely fashion.

To sign up for these exciting new lists, click the "update profile" link at the bottom of this email - or click this link to change your email profile. After you enter your email address, you'll be prompted to hbe sent an email with instructions to update your profile, which is how you can sign up for these other email lists. Please contact us if you have any trouble signing up.

Thanks again!
