TCFS Re-Accredited by the Council on Accreditation

TCFS is proud to announce that it has been re-accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA), an international, independent, nonprofit, human service accrediting organization founded in 1977.

The accreditation process involves a review of the entire organization, with standards that focus on both administrative operations and service delivery practices.

Accreditation signifies that an organization is effectively managing its resources and providing the best possible services to all of its stakeholders.  Congratulations TCFS!

TCFS Welcomes New Intake Workers

TCFS is pleased to welcome Lauren Miller as our new full-time Intake Coordinator and Pam Olsen as our new intake volunteer.

Lauren received her B.A. in Psychology from Argosy University and her M.S. in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University.  She has worked for Senior Services Associates in Yorkville as a Care Coordinator, for Child and Family Connections in Joliet as a Service Coordinator, and for Wellspring Center in Aurora as a Case Manager. Lauren's advanced intake and clinical assessment skills will be an invaluable asset to TCFS.

Pam will be helping out one day a week with agency intake. Her years of service as a Registered Nurse, and 15 years of social work experience in both hospital and clinical settings have equipped her well for this role, and TCFS is thankful to have her as part of our team.
