We hope you have received our announcements about our Social Dinner on Saturday, March 9th at Byblos Restaurant. We are pleased to welcome the Consul General of Lebanon, Honorable Johnny Ibrahim to this year's event. Although Consul General Ibrahim has been in Los Angeles almost one year now, we know there are many Lebanese who have not had the pleasure to meet him. We hope you will take this opportunity to join me for a great evening of entertainment, good food and an opportunity to meet our esteemed Consul General of Lebanon.

We are making plans to move to the new building in May and I need your help. What programs, services, workshops and activities would you like to see in our new center? Dear Friends,
The Executive Committee recently met to view the first series of renderings and floor plans for our new property. We are in the process of moving forward on a design and look forward to sharing our design plans with you in the near future. We expect to occupy the building beginning the week of May 6th and we hope to welcome you soon to our new home in Los Angeles.

Sari's inspirations come from his own personal perceptions and life experiences; springing from the depth of consciousness. Originating from the depth of the conscience; bringing to the surface some fragments of society, dilemmas, those of which are submerged and forgotten in the abyss of the psyche.
"My drawings were an open door to enter a new dimension. That is why most of them were surrealist as well as symbolic. They represent ideas, a new or parallel perspective of reality. They're a window you open to something that is there and has always been there with you, but then you decide to look at it in the face. My drawings are shapes, ideas and deformed figures that are far from being regular humans."- Sari
Sari is a Lebanese architect who is having his first show in Los Angeles - Congratulations.

HOL Artists' Group
Carole Choucair Oueijan, Artists' Group Chairman reported that the Artists' Group met in February to celebrate Valentines Day, begin planning for their Beyond Borders Art Exhibition and welcome new artists into the group. They even had a contest to bring "red food" to celebrate Valentines Day. The group voted and Reem Hammad's RED heart dish won! It was a beautiful and delicious beet recipe! If you go to their FACEBOOK page you can find the recipe!
Carole noted, "It is my pleasure to start the year with a very good meeting and having new faces and 3 new members in our group."
