The holiday season is a time of giving--are you hoping to support your local charities this year? A Framer's Touch has an exciting new project just for that! Our new "3 Charities 3 Months" program highlights three local non-profits to be the recipients of part of our gallery sales. And you get to help! From October to December, any gallery purchase you make will help aid our chosen charities. Your participation will benefit your community all while you shop for the holidays! It's this easy: at checkout, simply make your charity selection from among the 3, and we will put your purchase towards that choice. Working with our customers, AFT hopes to be able to make the holiday season extra bright and giving for three special, local non-profits.

  OREGON FOOD BANK
"Oregon Food Bank takes a holistic approach to ending hunger by bringing our community together to provide food, education and hope to our neighbors in need. We provide emergency food to people who are hungry through a cooperative statewide network of hunger-relief agencies, helping 1 in 5 households fend off hunger. OFB also leads statewide efforts to increase resources for hungry families and to eliminate the root causes of hunger by advocating for fair public policies, strengthening community food systems and providing nutrition and garden education to help people become more self-sufficient and resourceful."

BONNIE HAYS ANIMAL SHELTER
"Our shelter staff cared for about 4,000 stray, abandoned or neglected animals last year. It's easy to feel that working with stray and abandoned animals is an impossible task. The good news - and what keeps us feeling optimistic - is that we are part of thousands of success stories every year.
When animals are lost, we work very hard to find their owners. Last year, we reunited more than 1200 dogs and cats with their worried families. When owners don't claim their animals, or when owners relinquish their pets to the shelter, we find adoptable animals loving new homes."

FOREST GROVE FIRE DEPARTMENT
"Everything we do, we do for the people and the communities we proudly serve. With education and training, we prevent harm. With rapid and professional response, we protect lives and property. Through the desire to serve, and the courage to act, we are the model of a successful fire and rescue agency for the State of Oregon. Our full time and volunteer firefighters have a long standing commitment to not only being there in an emergency, but for also being active in support of our community. Whether it's answering your questions on Facebook, keeping the fires going at the annual "Founder's Day Corn Roast", handing out glow sticks so kids can be seen on Halloween, or distributing toys and food to families in need during the holidays, our firefighters believe that they are more than emergency responders - we are neighbors working together to make Forest Grove a better place."
